SBA Administrator Linda McMahon to visit NC next week

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Small Business Administration announced Friday that it has made millions of dollars in loans following Hurricane Florence.

Administrator Linda McMahon will visit North Carolina Tuesday and Wednesday to tour storm damage and meet with local recovery leaders.

Across the state, the SBA has made over 1,900 loans totaling more than $73 million.

James Rivera of the SBA’s Disaster Assistance Department says that 90 percent of the loans they are to homeowners.

No word yet on areas McMahon will visit. However, she will be be on Good Morning Carolina Wednesday with more details.
