Scam targets Wilmington elderly

They city of Wilmington wants you to know about a scam targeting the elderly.

Several people have reported receiving phone calls from a person saying they are with the city of Wilmington.

The caller then makes an appointment with the resident to test their water for possible contamination.

The city wants you to know it does not make these types of unsolicited calls.
