Scholarships available for Pender County students

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – Four graduating seniors in Pender County will be awarded scholarships from the Pender Education Partnership, a public-led foundation.

“In the spring we will award a scholarship to a senior from each of Pender’s high schools – Pender, Topsail, Heide Trask, and Pender Early College,” said Pender Education Partnership President Susan Croom.

Scholarship applications are available here.

Applications are also available to students from the high school guidance departments.

The scholarships are available to any Pender County senior who is pursuing higher education. This includes students who are attending a four-year college, associate degrees, trade schools and certifications.

The deadline to apply is April 7.

Pender Education Partnership is funded by private and corporate donations.
