School board names two new schools in Castle Hayne

The New Hanover County School Board decided on the names of the two schools under construction in Castle Hayne.

Castle Hayne Elementary School and Holly Shelter Middle School will be the newest additions to the school system.

Chairman of the Castle Hayne Steering Committee, Tom Radewicz, asked the board to consider using the Castle Hayne name. He said he is pleased with the board’s final decision.
