School bus accident sends one to hospital

BRUNSWICK COUNTY — A school bus accident in Brunswick County school sent one person to the hospital.

It happened just before eight o’clock this morning, near the intersection of Holden Beach Road and High Hill Drive.

The bus was heading to supply elementary school, when it got rear-ended. We’re told the sun’s glare made it hard for the driver of the car to see.

One person in the car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. All of the students were fine and the bus was able to deliver them to school safe and sound.
