Seafood Blues and Jazz festival is a hit

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY)– Locals and visitors are making their way to Pleasure Island this weekend for the annual Seafood Blues and Jazz Festival. This year the festival welcomed iconic, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Gregg Allman to the stage. The great food and music attracted a sold out audience this year, and people seemed very satisfied.

Dale and Alicia Case traveled from Oxford to enjoy the festival this weekend. They were excited to see Gregg Allman and say the festival is a great way to sit back and relax for a couple of days. Though it is there first Seafood Blues and Jazz festival, they say it will not be their last.
