Search for Wright heads south

TABOR CITY, NC (WWAY) — The Tabor City Police Department’s search for a career criminal with ties to R.C. Soles has extended south of the border.

Officers are still searching for B.J. Wright, who they believe is in South Carolina.

Wright is wanted for a series of vandalism incidents at the home of former Sen. Soles over the weekend.

Wright failed to show up for a court appearance Monday, where a judge set a $1 million secured bond once Wright is arrested.
