Search warrant leads to $1 million bond for Shallotte man
Shallotte, NC (WWAY) – A Brunswick County man faces several charges after a search of his Shallotte home.
The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit says they arrested Cornelius Green, 29, after they found nearly 28 grams of cocaine, 102 grams of marijuana, 625 grams of hydrocodone and money in his home on Beach Drive.
Green faces several drug charges, including possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, PWIMSD cocaine, trafficking opium, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Sheriff’s Office says they begin investigating Green after receiving several complaints and tips from the community.
Green has previous drug charges dating back to July.
He is in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $1 million bond.
