Peyton Strickland memorialized at CFCC

A plaque will be revealed memorializing Strickland through a scholarship program set up in his name. Strickland was killed in December by a sheriff's deputy trying to serve a search warrant.

Former mayor donates to CFCC

Cape Fear Community College received a huge gift from the City's former mayor. Former mayor Spence Broadhurst donated $15,000 to the college to help City employees and their family.
