Section of Village Point Road to close Monday

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A section of Village Point Road in Brunswick County will be closed for the remainder of the month starting Monday.

According to a release, the section of Village Point Road (SR 1145) will be closed in both directions 0.1 miles south of Bill Holden Road (SR 1148) staring Monday, March 20 at 8:00 a.m. until Friday, March 31 at 5:00 p.m.

The NCDOT will be replacing 60″ pipes in that area.

The NCDOT wants to remind people to stay alert and use alternative routes when possible.
