Seniors participate in resource fair

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) —   New Hanover County seniors got a chance to do some learning through a resource fair Wednesday.

The program is part of a series of fairs hosted by Congressman David Rouzer. Various government groups and local programs presented information on everything from legal matters to healthcare, while many participants asked questions regarding social security. Mark Sally said he learned a lot but wishes there was more time to talk to representatives and experts.

“I was hoping it’d be more like a town hall setting because I think the Congressmen and Senators around the country have a lot of explaining to do,” Sally said.

The last fair will take place tomorrow in Johnston County.
