Shallotte man convicted on kidnapping, indecent liberties with a child charges

Editors Note: Kenneth Lee entered an Alford plea of guilty to indecent liberties with a child and kidnapping charges in November of 2024. He was sentenced to between 6 and 12 years in prison. The other charged were dropped. 

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Shallotte man is facing several child sex charges.

According to Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office warrants, Kenneth Lee Aman, 57, is accused of engaging in sex acts, including intercourse, with a 7-year-old child on July 15th.

Aman was arrested and charged on November 17th.

He is charged with one count of Statutory Rape of Child by Adult, one count of Indecent Liberties with Child by Adult, and two counts of Sexual Offense with Child by Adult.

He is being held in the Brunswick County Jail.
