Shallotte man jailed on $1 million bond for assault

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – A Shallotte man is accused of beating a woman with piece of wood and metal pipe.

According to arrest warrants, Hasheem Hill, 24, hit a woman with a 2 1/2 foot long piece of wood and a pipe across the face, her body and hand.

Hill is also accused of grabbing a male and pushing him against a porch and then to the ground.

Warrants show this happened November 19.

Hill is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, simple assault, driving while impaired and possession with intent to sell and distribute cocaine.

He is in jail under a $1,025,500 bond.
