Shallotte realtor found dead
A missing man mystery is now a murder case. We first reported on this case over the weekend when Shallotte realtor Adam Bradshaw never returned home from running errands. Last night, Bradshaw’s body was found off Watts Road in Brunswick County.
The quiet community of Brierwoood in Shallotte is in shock. Bradshaw’s friends and family are making a tearful plea for any information leading to his killer.
“Adam was wonderful,” Nancy Bass, Bradshaw’s Mother-in-law, said. “He was a wonderful loving father and son in law. In fact we thought of him as a son.”
Bass says Adam was very much the family man. His wife Shannon would not go on camera but news of the murder is heart wrenching.
“There’s a precious little fellow in there that is going to help keep her moving forward in the days that lie ahead,” Bass said.
The Bradshaws had recently moved to Brierwood. Neighbors say Adam was a nice guy; busy decorating and settling in to his family’s new home.
“It’s just tragedy,” neighbor Dick Lavin said. “I mean, my wife and I were talking about it this morning. One day you’re married and happy and going at it. The next day you’re a survivor.”
Investigators found Adam Bradshaw’s body along a rural stretch of road in Brunswick County. But exactly who murdered him and how he got here still remains a mystery. Investigators are saying very little about this case. The Shallotte Police Department says it still hasn’t established a motive, nor have detectives released the cause of death.
Bradshaw’s car is still missing. Police are looking for his 2007 dark blue Ford Mustang with North Carolina plate C21KING. Investigators are hoping the car will lead to more clues as to who killed the local realtor. Bradshaw leaves behind his wife and 14-month-old son Adam Jr.
If anyone has any information regarding this case, they’re urged to call the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office at 253-2777.
