Shark gives family visiting Carolina Beach a little scare

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — A little scare for a family visiting Carolina Beach last week.

A YouTube video dated Sept. 14 shows some children with their boogie boards in shallow water. Right after they get in, one of the kids notices a shark swim by just a few feet away, which sent her running for shore.

A post to the blog Carolina Beach Today from a woman who says she’s the mom in the video says the family was a little scared to go to the beach the next day.
