Shipt and Target launch same-day delivery service in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Looks like you won’t have to leave your couch to shop at Target. Shipt, the grocery delivery marketplace, will begin same-day delivering from Target to Wilmington residents starting next week.

Target acquired Shipt in December adding the company to a growing list of retailers throughout the southeast including the Port City.

In addition to grocery delivery, Shipt will also deliver additional products from Target including electronics, home goods, and more.

The service starts next Thursday, February 8.

It also expanded to places in our state like Asheville, Charlotte, the Triad and Triangle.
