Shooting sends man to the hospital

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Police are looking for a suspect in a shooting that sent one man to the hospital Wednesday night.

Police said they don’t have a lot of information on when it happened. They were searching up and down Main Street in Navassa around Mount Calvary AME Church as part of a saturation patrol.

Police said they don’t know what condition the victim is in, but he was taken to New Hanover Medical Center.
