Small fire near Monkey Junction

A Monkey Junction road was closed Thursday morning after a brush fire broke out.

The fire started in the woods off Mohican Trail. At one point, witnesses said the smoke was crossing College Road. Law enforcement closed down the road until they contained the fire.
Luckily no one was hurt, and no homes were damaged.
