SO SWEET! SC park rangers save child’s teddy bear, share adventures

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WWAY) — A little boy named Thompson is much happier these days, after a beloved stuffed animal was returned to him, thanks to some rangers in South Carolina.

Thompson and his family stayed in a cabin at Myrtle Beach State Park a few weeks ago.

When they left, Thompson’s bear was accidentally left behind. When the family got back to Columbia, they realized that the bear wasn’t with them. They called the park to see if the bear was found and if so, if they would send him home.

Not only did they find him — the park rangers took the bear on adventures throughout the park, took photos and then sent the pictures and the bear back to Thompson!

Thompson was so happy, he sent the rangers a picture with a note that thanked them for keeping his bear for a few days.
