Some downtown parking decks free for Wells Fargo Championship ticket-holders
DOWNTOWN WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — To encourage more use of the downtown shuttles and help alleviate congestion in the Hampstead area, a New Hanover County spokeswoman says parking will be free at some decks downtown for Wells Fargo Championship ticket-holders.
The free parking begins at 6 a.m. Thursday, through Sunday, for the following:
– New Hanover County Library Parking Deck: 201 Chestnut Street
– City of Wilmington 2nd Street Parking Deck: 114 N. 2nd Street
– City of Wilmington Market Street Parking Deck: 115 Market Street
– Convention Center Parking Deck: 515 Nutt Street
A free trolley will run from these parking locations to the transportation hub.
