Southport Aldermen consider buying building for office space

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — In Southport tonight the Board of Aldermen will decide whether to buy some real estate.

Aldermen meet in a special session at 6 p.m. at City Hall to discuss the finalization of plans to purchase the Wells Fargo building at 1029 North Howe Street.

The board hopes to use the building for city offices.
