Southport among ’16 Great Towns to Visit in 2018′ by TripAdvisor

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — TripAdvisor just released a list of “16 Great Towns to Visit in 2018” and the Happiest Seaside Town.

From Arkansas to Oregon, our area’s quaint, coastal Southport made the list and it’s not the town’s only honor in recent years.

In 2015, Coastal Living Magazine named Southport the Happiest Seaside Town in America.

The magazine named Southport in 2016 the Best Beach Town in America to celebrate 4th of July.

As for this most recent list, TripAdvisor also says Boone, Chapel Hill, and Folly Beah, SC are great towns to visit this year.
