Southport in ‘Happiest Seaside Town Contest’

Southport, NC (WWAY) — There's another reason to smile in Southport.

Coastal Living named the Brunswick County town one of ten finalists for 'America's Happiest Seaside Town' 2015.

Coastal Living looked at several factors, including standards of living, crime rating, financial well-being of locals, and percentage of sunny days.

You can vote from now until March 31st to determine which town will claim the number one spot.
