Southport Police warn about suspicious car near Walmart

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — Police are warning you to always be aware of your surrounding after a suspicious car was seen driving around the Walmart in Southport Thursday.

The police department says they received a report of a car riding around the business on North Howe Street with the occupants inside jumping out, spraying victims with perfume and trying to get money.

Police say no one was injured.
