WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY) — Mum is the word from Ashley Athletics Director Roy Turner, but WWAY has confirmation that Tom Eanes will be named the new Ashley head football coach on Tuesday afternoon at a 3pm news conference at Ashley High School. We’ll have complete coverage from the news conference on Tuesday’s news. Eanes leaves Pender High School. Eanes served as the head baseball coach and head football coach at Pender. At Ashley Eanes is only expected to be the head football coach.
