Exams make for light ACC basketball schedule

RALEIGH (AP) — With exams under way at most schools, it’s a light night in Atlantic Coast Conference men’s basketball.

None of the North Carolina ACC schools is playing tonight. Outside of the state, Ohio is at Maryland and Boston College hosts Massachusetts.

For the Terrapins freshman Cliff Tucker is shooting 87 percent from 3-point range, having hit seven of his first eight in Maryland’s 10 games.

Boston College defeated Maryland in the conference opener on Sunday. In that game, Tyrelle Blair blocked 11 shots to tie the seventh-best single-game performance in conference history.

Going into tonight’s action, the ACC is 79-21 in non-conference play.
