Hoggard honored by Board of Commissioners

WILMINGTON — The champion Hoggard High School football team received another honor Monday.

The Hoggard team was honored by the New Hanover County Board of Commissioners at Monday night’s meeting.

The undefeated 4A champion Vikings were recognized as a team and individually by commissioners.

Hoggard defeated Mount Tabor to take the title and earn a spot in local sports history.
