Time Warner Cable Holiday Classic at Brogden Hall tips off December 20th

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Time Warner Cable Holiday Classic will tip off at Brogden Hall on December 20th.
First round pairings are listed below:

Monday, December 20

Game 1 3:00 Hoggard vs. Pender
Game 2 4:30 Ashley vs. South View
Game 3 6:00 New Hanover vs. East Bladen
Game 4 7:30 Laney vs. Havelock

Tuesday, December 21

Game 5 3:00 loser of game 1 vs. loser of game 2
Game 6 4:30 loser of game 3 vs. loser of game 4
Game 7 6:00 winner of game 1 vs. winner of game 2
Game 8 7:30 winner of game 3 vs. winner of game 4

Wednesday, December 22

Game 9 2:00 loser of game 5 vs. loser of game 6
Game 10 3:30 winner of game 5 vs. winner of game 6
Game 11 5:00 loser of game 7 vs. loser of game 8
Game 12 6:30 winner of game 7 vs. winner of game 8 ( title game )

Every girls team from New Hanover County lost in the first round last year. That likely won’t happen again this year, but East Bladen and South View are considered heavy favorites to make it to Wednesday’s championship game on December 22nd.
