Whiteville Post 137 slips… championship game awaits

Cherryville beat Whiteville Post 137 Tuesday night 12-3 at the state tournament for American Legion Baseball in Asheboro. Cherryville will play Kernersville Wednesday afternoon. The winner of that game will face Whiteville in the finals Wednesday night. The winner of Wednesday night’s game will advance to the Southeast Legion Baseball Regionals in Tennessee next week.
