StarNews: Cash stolen from downtown Western Union

WILMINGTON, NC (StarNewsOnline.com) — A robber stole cash Wednesday afternoon from a Western Union in downtown Wilmington.

According to a New Hanover County 911 dispatcher, the robbery took place shortly after 5 p.m. at 209 N. Second St.

The dispatcher added that it looked like the perpetrator had a weapon, but he didn't use it during the incident.

Nobody was injured during the robbery, and it's unclear how much cash was taken.
