A possible bond referendum for New Hanover County Schools got a price tag and projects Tuesday.

At a work session, members of the New Hanover County Board of Education agreed to vote on a $284 million bond referendum at their January meeting. The new and replacement schools would cost about $16 million each, while the rest of the funding would pay for building renovations and technology improvements across the county.
