State honoring teachers for 50 years service

The state is honoring seven teachers in North Carolina for 50 years of dedication to educating students.

Three of them are here in the Cape Fear: Eugene Doane of South Brunswick High School and two teachers in Columbus County — Elizabeth Jacobs and Everlene Davis of South Columbus High School.
