State lifts some Oak Island swim advisories

OAK ISLAND, NC (WWAY) — The state today lifted three swimming advisories in Oak Island, but three are still in effect.

One of the advisories being lifted was issued May 13 at the public beach access at Southeast 58th Street and East Beach Drive. The other two advisories being lifted today were issued May 20th at the ocean pier at Ocean Drive and Keziah Street and at the public beach access at 30th Place West and Beach Drive.

Advisories continue at Lighthouse Park and the Caswell Beach Public Access on Caswell Beach Road and the public access at Southeast 46th Street and East Beach Drive.
