State lottery sends more than $93 million to a state fund
The state lottery is making money. State education programs have seen more than 900 million dollars since the first lottery tickets were sold in 2006.
Executive Director Tom Shaheen said the lottery has just sent more than 93 million dollars to a dedicated state fund as part of the lottery’s regular quarterly transfer to the state.
More than two billion dollars in tickets have been sold since the games began.
