Steamers sink Sharks

WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY) – On Monday night the Edenton Steamers showed why they’re considered to be the best team in the Coastal Plain League. Edenton scored three early runs. The Sharks pulled within 3-2 after three innings of play, but that’s as close as the Sharks could get. The Steamers won game one of the second round best of three playoff series 14-2 at Buck Hardee Field on Monday night. Game two will be played in Edenton on Tuesday. The Sharks have to win game two to force a game three. If the Sharks lose either game their season will be over.
