STORMTRACK 3: Bitter cold remains, some relief in sight…

The arctic blast continues for now. Temperatures will drop into the teens tonight, with wind chills in the single digits. The record temperature in Wilmington for late tonight/early Wednesday is 17 degrees (set in 1962). Our forecast temperature for tonight is 19 degrees.

Slightly warmer air will return by Wednesday afternoon, but temperatures will remain well below-normal. A storm system will approach the area on Thursday. See the full forecast here.
