STORMTRACK 3: Conditions improving as sunshine returns

The sunshine is finally back today, and should help road conditions rapidly improve today. Any lingering black ice will melt as road temperatures increase this morning under sunny skies. 

This clear and cold weather will last through the end of the workweek with daytime highs well below normal and overnight lows in the 20’s. This creates one area of concern. With a good deal of snow melt taking place in our northern counties, wet roads could turn icy during the overnight periods through the weekend. Continue to keep an eye out for this patchy black ice when traveling at night and during the mornings.
