Student attacked with hammer at Laney High School

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – A New Hanover County spokesperson says two students got into a fight this morning. He says one student pulled out a hammer and hit the other student in the head near his eye. The 17-year-old went to the hospital. No charges have been filed yet.
