Successful Surf City Dolphin Dip

SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — Surf City marked the start of 2015 with the annual Dolphin Dip Extravaganza.

This year organizers say about 7,500 people came out to jump in the ocean for the new year and to raise money.

No word yet on how much money was raised, but this year the dip raises money for Ocean Cure from Carolina Beach.
