Sunday added to early voting schedule

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The next time you head to the polls, you’ll have another day to do it in New Hanover County.

According to New Hanover County Board of Elections Director Derek Bowens, early voting next year will allow voters to head to the polls on Sunday. The early voting for the primaries starts on March 3 and ends on March 12. From Monday to Saturday that first week, you can vote from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the locations below. On Sunday, March 6, you’ll be able to vote only at the Government Center from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The next week of early voting will have similar 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. hours, except the last Saturday which will end at 1 p.m.
