Sunset Beach road closures scheduled for next week

SUNSET BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Drivers in Sunset Beach should plan for a couple of road closures next week.

The town says the Public Works Department will close Magnolia Drive between 821 and 827 on Monday beginning at 9 a.m. for stormwater pipe repairs. The road will remain closed while the pipe under the road is replaced. The repair is expected to take three days.

Afterwards staff will replace the stormwater pipe at the intersection of Kirkwood Place and Magnolia Drive. That road will remain closed while the pipe under the roadway is replaced. This repair is expected to take two days.
