‘Support the Girls’ holding Free Mastectomy Bra Event

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — ‘I Support the Girls‘ is holding a free mastectomy bra event Sunday in Wilmington.  It is in partnership with the Pretty in Pink Foundation.

The organization provides bras to women who are under-insured, have no insurance or are living paycheck-to-paycheck.

The event is Sunday, June 24 at Grace United Methodist Church in downtown Wilmington.  You can get your free bra from 2: – 3:30 p.m..

The mastectomy bras were donated by Miss Dorothy of Goldsboro.

Women who are teachers, first responders, single mothers or grandmothers are also invited to attend.
