Surf City Dental wants to buy your Halloween candy

SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) – You can get rid of your excess Halloween candy while earning some cash and supporting the troops.

Surf City Dental is holding its 6th annual Candy Buy Back program today from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.

During “Operation Cash-For-Candy,” Surf City Dental says it will help fight the war on candy overload and cavities, while also saying thanks to the men and women serving our country.

Dr Matt Parr of Surf City Dental said, “We’re hoping kids will begin to limit or ditch the excess candy. Visiting your dentist twice a year and brushing daily are great preventative measures, but doing away with excess sweets altogether would really give your teeth a healthy boost.”

Surf City Dental will buy back your children’s uneaten, wrapped ‘extra’ candy for $2 per pound. All kids who donate candy will be registered to win a $50 Visa Gift Card and receive a goody bag for their donation. Candy must be unopened with no bite marks.
