Surf City fireworks still on

SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — Plans are still scheduled for the big holiday celebration in Surf City.

The event includes fireworks and live music and begins at 6 p.m. Sunday July 3rd. Town manager Larry Bergman said they will keep an eye on weather and decide on any changes early Sunday.

He said they’ve only had to cancel the event one time in the past.
