Surf City Police search for man accused of breaking into cars, stealing guns

SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — Surf City Police are looking for a man they say was involved in multiple car break-ins from back in January.

They’re asking for your help to identify the suspect in these photos.

Police say these two men were caught on camera breaking into four vehicles and stealing handguns from them.

Police say one of the suspects, Titus Singleton, stole a vehicle.

Wilmington Police arrested Singleton within hours. He faces numerous charges and remains in the New Hanover County Jail under a $35,000 bond.

Surf City Police still need to identify the other man. They say he’s around 30 years old, about 6 feet tall with short hair.
