Surveillance photos released in BP robbery

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police has released pictures of a suspect involved in a robbery at a gas station.

The incident happened Friday night around 6:28 p.m. at the BP Gas Center #2 at 604 S. College Rd. Witnesses say he pulled out a knife and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a black Columbia hooded jacket with gray on the underside of the sleeves. Police say he fled from the store in a 2000 model Gold Mercury Sable or Ford Taurus.
