VIDEO: Suspect wanted for hitting car with baby inside
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are searching for the driver who is seen on camera hitting another car with a baby inside and then driving away from the scene.
The hit and run happened around 10:40 a.m. March 25 at the intersection of 2nd and Dock Streets in Downtown Wilmington.
The suspect made a hand gesture toward the victims and drove toward South 3rd Street.
The suspect was driving a primer gray Jeep Cherokee with large tires, tinted windows and a 30 day temporary tag.
The vehicle hit a silver BMW, which had an infant in the back seat, in the rear causing significant damage. No injuries were reported.
