Suspect in serial bank robberies arrested in SC

There are new developments with the case of a suspected serial bank robber. Authorities in Horry County have a man in custody.

The man is 50-year-old Jonathan Thompson of Concord. He was picked up earlier this week in South Carolina.

Right now he is being held as a fugitive, under no bond. He is suspected of robberies at several banks in South Carolina.

Wilmington Police have warrants out for him for the robberies of a BB&T branch, and two Bank of America locations in Wilmington.

Surveillance video captured the man wearing different hats at each bank.
