Suspected heroin dealers now face murder charges

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – Two men arrested earlier this month in New Hanover County on drug charges are now charged with second degree murder.

Jonathan Alan Foster, 28, and Daniel Lees Masciotti, 33, were arrested on November 10 and charged with selling or delivering heroin, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver, and conspiracy to sell/deliver heroin.

Today, second degree murder was added to their list of charges.

Foster’s bond has been set at $2.25 million.
