Suspects sought in front porch shooting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police are looking for two men accused of shooting at a group of people sitting on a front porch of a home on 10th Street.

The incident happened in the 800 block of S. 10th Street Saturday afternoon just before 1:00 p.m. Officers responded to the area after a ShotSpotter activation. Witnesses on scene told police two men shot at the people on the porch from a fenced area across the street. Bullet holes were found on the porch and shell casings were also found.

Police said there were four people on the porch at the time, but no injuries were reported.
